Machine Aided Telepathy

Japanese scientists are working on a dream recorder. This technology recreates images onto a computer screen from the test subject's brainwaves. It's a potential mind-reading device. Putting aside the ethical questions this may bring up, the implications are really amazing.

I can't help but think that perhaps in our organic computer-like brain we have something comparable to receivers for the frequencies of other minds. Something of this nature would explain the strong telepathic connections that sometimes happen between twins, parents with their children, and so on. The unaware sender and receiver may be in the same frequency range.

The whole thing is certainly food for thought.
